Qualification standards for the 2022 Victorian Championship events are now available.
Victorian Masters Championships 25 June
Entrants must be turning 35 years of age in 2022.
Entrants must have registered at least one total at a sanctioned event within the qualifying period.
Qualification period: 4 December 2021 - 28 May 2022
Victorian Age Championships (U23/Junior/Youth/U15) 23 July
Entrants must be within the relevant age category.
Entrants must have registered at least one total at a sanctioned event within the qualifying period.
Qualification period: 5 December 2021 - 2 July 2022
Victorian Schools Championships 21 October
Entrants must be currently enrolled in primary or secondary school as a student.
Entrants must have registered a total at any 2022 Schools League Competition, which are:
- School Sport Victorian Open, held on 25 March
- Sport and Recreation Victoria Cup, held on 20 May
- Schools League 3, held on 5 August
Victorian Senior Championships 22 October
Male entrants must have achieved AWF H Grade at a sanctioned event within the qualification period.
Female entrants must have achieved AWF I Grade at a sanctioned event within the qualification period.
Qualification period: 1 January 2022 - 1 Oct 2022

General notes:
- For all Victorian Championship events, entrants must be able to lift the minimum starting weights (Female 21kg, Male 26kg).
- Athletes who do not turn 13 this year are not able to participate in accordance with AWF Policy, which can be read here.
